Seaside Car Rental - Terms and Conditions

Rental Period

• The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
• For long-term rentals, the minimum period is 30 days. Please contact our offices for pricing and further details.

Age and License Requirements

• Economy and Standard Cars: Minimum age is 21, and a valid driving license of at least 2 years is required. Drivers aged 21–25 may incur an additional fee.
• Premium Cars: Minimum age is 27, and a valid driving license of at least 2 years is required.

Additional Driver

• Additional drivers can be included in the rental agreement for an additional fee.
• Additional drivers must present their driving licenses during vehicle delivery and be covered by the insurance policy.

Payment and Insurance

• Rentals must be paid with a valid credit card.
• Basic insurance is included in all rentals, with optional additional insurance coverage available. Details of the insurance can be reviewed during vehicle delivery.

Reservations and Cancellations

• Reservations can be made online.
• Cancellation policies vary depending on the reservation type. No fee will be charged for cancellations made within the specified time frame.

Mileage Limit

• Economy and standard cars typically have a daily mileage limit of 300 km.

Delivery and Vehicle Return

• One-Way Rentals: A one-way fee applies for vehicles returned to a different location than where they were picked up.
• In cities where "Seaside Car Rental" has an office, delivery and pick-up may be free (detailed one-way fees are specified on the website for each vehicle). In locations without an office, a service fee based on the distance to the nearest office will apply.
• In case of late returns, 1/5 of the daily rental fee will be charged for each extra hour. If the delay exceeds 5 hours, a full daily fee will apply.

International Use

• Authorization must be obtained in advance for taking the vehicle abroad. Additional fees and documentation may be required.

Highway Tolls and Traffic Fines

• All traffic violations, highway tolls, bridge, and other crossing fees are the responsibility of the renter.
• If the vehicle is held by legal authorities, the time will be added to the rental period and charged accordingly.

Important Notes

• In Case of an Accident: The vehicle must not be moved, and an accident and alcohol report must be obtained from the nearest police or gendarmerie station. Failure to do so will void the insurance.
• If the renter or driver is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, all financial and legal responsibilities, including damages to third parties, will be borne by the renter.
• In the case of theft, the nearest police or gendarmerie station must be contacted, and "Seaside Car Rental" must be informed.
